MJH’s Compliance practice is made up of experienced lawyers who support businesses in establishing compliance systems, minimising legal risks and implementing internal procedures that underpin the secure operation of organisations. We combine legal expertise with a practical approach to business, enabling our clients to achieve their business objectives whilst mitigating regulatory and reputational risks.

We support clients across a range of sectors – from family-run businesses and medium-sized enterprises to international corporate groups – by helping them to establish and maintain compliance systems tailored to the nature and scale of their operations.

We support and represent our clients in the following areas:

  • developing and implementing compliance policies – we draw up procedures and guidelines for staff and management that explain, in an accessible manner, the obligations arising from the law and internal regulations
  • training and workshops for staff – we run educational programmes covering the most important areas of law and regulation, tailored to the specific nature of the industry
  • monitoring compliance with legal provisions – we support clients in the areas of competition law, data protection (GDPR), employment law, AML, environmental protection and other sector-specific regulations
  • compliance analyses and audits – we identify risks, recommend corrective measures and assist in preparing organisations for internal and external audits
  • support during searches and inspection proceedings – we prepare companies for dealings with supervisory and audit authorities and represent clients during inspections
